Building Home in the Church

Attending the church service every Sunday morning has become part of my family's life. It wouldn't be a Sunday if we find ourselves not listening to God's words on that day.

It's been a few weeks since our Pastor announced that we have only until the end of this month (March) to stay in our current "church". It's actually a classroom leased to our church every Sunday by a college school in Antipolo. We moved here when the garage we were renting was used as Headquarters by the owner (former City Mayor-now-Congressman) for his political group. Now that the location will have to be used by the school, here is a big concern for all of us (members)...

Part of our Pastor's teachings this morning is building a home in the church. We still hope to achieve this despite the above concern that we have.

We hope and pray that God will provide, and we are already claiming that. Wherever He will be leading us, if it's His will, so be it.

New Friends...

I have been accustomed to seeing only about three (3) or four (4) families attending our church service every Sunday.. But this morning was different! I was amazed to see a number of visitors in the church (Me and my family were late, hehe!)! We have Korean nationals in the group. I would like to welcome Max, Kevin, Ronnie, Marie and the rest of the members of their group! Welcome to Blessed Hope Christian Baptist Church! We hope to see you again every Sunday!

Blessed Hope Christian Baptist Church

This is our church - the Blessed Hope Christian Baptist Church with Pastor Roldan delos Santos as our leader. The church started two years ago in a rented small house with less than 50 sqm floor area and located along circumferential road in Antipolo for a minimal fee. We were allowed to use the house for a few months then relocated by the owner to their other property along Sto. Nino, Antipolo City. She allowed us to use the garage of their vacant house for the same monthly rental. The building has no ceiling and is open towards the road so the heat and noise of different vehicles passing by just seemed unbearable. We were finally allowed to use the other building next to the garage. However, as the local elections drew nearer, we were advised by the owner to vacate the area for the meantime since the place will be used as headquarters of her husbands' group who is running as representative for the congress. She told to our pastor further that we can always go back to the place after the elections.

God really provides because one of our members - Bro. Jay Comendador who is the school administrator of World Citi Colleges in Antipolo City, after asking permision from his superiors, allowed us to use one of the rooms of the school for our services every Sunday. This was made possible because it is summer vacation and the students are still enjoying their school break... We will be going back to the building along Sto. Nino St. in two weeks time...

Another day in paradise...

Another day in paradise... Our church outing last Friday at the Momarco Resort located at the heart of the mountains of SAmpaloc, Tanay, Rizal. Our church - Blessed Hope Christian Baptist Church - being led by our beloved pastor, Pastor Roldan delos Santos, is just a small community. With a few families as its members, it has always been our prayers that this church be blessed and to finally be able to locate it's venue that is accessible to all children of God...
